Cover Reveal: The Collector by Victoria Scott

Hello everyone! Hope you've all had a great week so far. Now today I'm privileged to be part of the cover reveal for one of Entangled Publishing's 2013 releases. I know that sounds like a long way off, but by the sounds of it, THE COLLECTOR by Victoria Scott is going to be worth the wait.

HERE IT IS!

Pretty sweet right? It's certainly bold. I love the quote at the bottom from Mary Lindsey..."Dante Walker is the kind of guy I wish I'd men when I was Seventeen. And the kind of guy I'd kill if my daughter brought him home." Certainly sounds like Dante Walker isn't exactly the guy next door...more like the guy who set next door on fire :)

Here's the Blurb for THE COLLECTOR:
Dante Walker is flippin’ awesome, and he knows it. His good looks, killer charm, and stellar confidence have made him one of hell’s best—a soul collector. His job is simple, weed through humanity and label those round rears with a big red good or bad stamp. Old Saint Nick gets the good guys, and he gets the fun ones. Bag-and-tag.
Sealing souls is nothing personal. Dante’s an equal opportunity collector and doesn’t want it any other way. But he’ll have to adjust, because Boss Man has given him a new assignment:
Collect Charlie Cooper’s soul within 10 days.
Dante doesn’t know why Boss Man wants Charlie, nor does he care. This assignment means only one thing to him, and that’s a permanent ticket out of hell. But after Dante meets the quirky, Nerd Alert chick he’s come to collect—he realizes this assignment will test his abilities as a collector, and uncover emotions deeply buried.

Definitely going on my TBR List :) THE COLLECTOR will be published in Spring 2013 by Entangled Teen however is you can't wait 'til then there is more information and a cool trailer available via Dante Walker's Website.

All right then. Enjoy!

Cover Reveal: Greta and the Goblin King

Hello everyone. Today I am very privlidged to be able to be part of the cover reveal for Greta and the Goblin King by Chloe Jacobs. It looks pretty good doesn't it? I've been following Chloe Jacobs on twitter for a while now because the blurb for Greta and the Goblin King really intrigues me AND she's promised an excerpt will be sent our way closer to the release date...so September ish.
Greta and the Goblin King will be released November 13th 2012 from Entangled Publishing.

Blurb:
While trying to save her brother four years ago, Greta was thrown into the witch’s fire herself, falling through a portal to a dangerous world where humans are the enemy, and every ogre, goblin, and ghoul has a dark side that comes out with the full moon.
To survive, seventeen-year-old Greta has hidden her humanity and taken the job of bounty hunter—and she’s good at what she does. So good, she’s caught the attention of Mylena’s young Goblin King, the darkly enticing Isaac, who invades her dreams and undermines her determination to escape.
But Greta’s not the only one looking to get out of Mylena. The full moon is mere days away, and an ancient evil knows she’s the key to opening the portal. If Greta fails, she and the lost boys of Mylena will die. If she succeeds, no world will be safe from what follows her back…

Sounds fabulous right! I can't wait for it to be released so I can get my hands on a copy :)

More about the Author:
Chloe Jacobs is a native of nowhere and everywhere, having jumped around to practically every Province of Canada before finally settling in Ontario where she has now been living for a respectable number of years. Her husband and son are the two best people in the entire world, but they also make her wish she'd at least gotten a female cat. No such luck. And although the day job keeps her busy, she carves out as much time as possible to write. Bringing new characters to life and finding out what makes them tick and how badly she can make them suffer is one of her greatest pleasures, almost better than chocolate and fuzzy pink bunny slippers.

Cover Reveal: Luminosity by Stephanie Thomas

Hi everyone. Today I am very privileged to have been included in the cover reveal for Luminosity! Luminosity is book 1 in the brand new Raven Chronicles series by Stephanie Thomas. Doesn't the cover look amazing, I love that the eye make-up has been made to look like feathers on a Ravens wing, very cool! Blue again...as you know, anything blue always catches my eye and I am certainly intrigued my the cover.

Blurb:
"My name is Beatrice. When I was born, I was blessed with the Sight. I was immediately removed from my parents and enrolled in the Institution. At the age of twelve, I had my first true vision, earning my raven’s wings. And when I turned seventeen, one of my visions came true. Things haven’t been the same since.
The Institution depends on me to keep the City safe from our enemy, the Dreamcatchers, but I’m finding it harder to do while keeping a secret from everyone, including my best friend Gabe. It is a secret that could put us all in danger. A secret that could kill me and everyone close to me.
But the enemy has been coming to me in my dreams, and I think I’m falling in love with him. He says they’re coming. He says they’re angry. And I think I’ve already helped them win."

Sounds good right? Luminosity is certainly a book added to my TBR list when it is released on 7th August 2012. Let me know your thoughts!

Cover Reveal: Inbetween by Tara Fuller

Hey everyone, I'm extremely excited to be able to reveal the cover to Tara Fuller's new Young Adult book Inbetween! I've had my eye on Inbetween for a while now because I love the sound of the blurb (see below). I like this cover...it's striking and I think it would appeal to her target audience. I personally like the quote 'Death doesn't fall in love. Usually'. I'm certainly intrigued.

Blurb for Inbetween:
Since the car crash that took her father’s life three years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky—and unending—lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so
Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option.

It’s not easy being dead, especially for a reaper in love with a girl fate has put on his list not once, but twice. Finn’s fellow reapers give him hell about spending time with Emma, but Finn couldn't let her die before,
and he’s not about to let her die now. He will protect the girl he loves from the evil he accidentally unleashed, even if it means sacrificing the only thing he has left…his soul.

Cover Release: Gravity by Melissa West

Hi again everyone. I've been following Melissa West on twitter for a while now because the synopsis to her novel Gravity (see below) sounds really intriguing. Now we also have a delightful cover for it too, I must say I think it's so pretty. Blue has been my favourite colour FOREVER (though it is closely followed by deep purple) and it just draws me straight in. It's one of those books I'd pick up for the cover alone!

Anyway here is the synopsis from Melissa West's website.
Seventeen-year-old Ari Alexander just broke that rule and saw the last person she expected hovering above her bed—arrogant Jackson Locke, the most popular boy in her school. She expects instant execution or some kind of freak alien punishment, but instead, Jackson issues a challenge: help him, or everyone on Earth will die.
Ari knows she should report him, but everything about Jackson makes her question what she’s been taught about his kind. And against her instincts, she’s falling for him. But Ari isn’t just any girl, and Jackson wants more than her attention. She’s a military legacy who’s been trained by her father and exposed to war strategies and societal information no one can know—especially an alien spy, like Jackson. Giving Jackson the information he needs will betray her father and her country, but keeping silent will start a war.

Sounds good does it not? Gravity is being released October 2012 and is certainly something I will be keeping a watchful eye on.

UK Cover: Rogue Rider

Look how pretty they look together!
I was flicking down my Facebook news feed and BAM....I see this amazing cover release. I was immediately blown away by the UK cover of Larissa Ione's highly anticipated 4th book in the Lords of Deliverance series. The cover for Rogue Rider (aka. Reseph's story) is just beautiful, and model Reseph on the cover...oh boy, he is gorgeous! I'm glad they've managed to incorporate the bow and arrow that Reseph/Pestilence is such a good shot with, he actually looks a lot like I imagined him. As for Conquest...that warhorse is beautiful, I've always loved pure white horses, there's something magical about them.
This cover is going to fit so well with the other 3 in the series. Rogue Rider is going to be EPIC!
