Feature and Follow {17}

Hello everyone,
As we all know it's FRIDAY and here that means it's Feature and Follow time. Feature and follow for those who don't know (have you been living under a rock?) is a weekly meme hosted by the lovely folk at Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. It is a great way for all us bloggers and readers to get connected by answering one simple question every week. It allows you to see a little more inside my head...though why you'd want to is beyond me, it's a little weird and kinda noisy in there...some places are also a little dusty too...but that's normal...right? Anyway, let's get on with the show!

Today, we're being asked to:

Share your favourite literary quote!

Ok, yep I know this. Actually I'm going to cheat a little and do one profound quote and one funny quote. See if you can guess who they're from and I'll let you know in the comments if you're right :)

First off we have our more serious quote:
“Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.”
And now for the funny one. This does not some me up in any way what so ever...nope...not one bit. It's from one of my favourite characters...gold star to anyone who can guess who :)
“Paranoid? Probably. But just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't an invisible demon about to eat your face.”
Ok then folks, that's me done for this round. Don't forget to enter my 2 year Blogoversary giveaway. There's a link over there ----> somewhere, only a day or so left to enter. Do it. Do it now ;)

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Over and out!

I think those quotes are cute and LOL worthy but I don't know where they're from... I"m gonna guess something from Cassandra Clare?

Isn't the first one from a certain tearjerker by John Green? Great book. :)

I really love your template and don't think you should change it either. It isn't winter where I'm at, but it's always winter somewhere. :)

I enjoyed your quotes but can't think of where they're from. The first one sounds so familiar, it's bugging me, lol.

Well done Kaitlin, yes, quote number 1 was form The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.

As for quote number 2...the epically wonderful Harry Dresden from Jim Butchers Dresden Files says this wonderfully creative line :)
